About The Bowtie Gourmet

Bowtie Gourmet, established in 2009, is a full-service event planning firm that specializes in bespoke weddings throughout the Northern Virginia area.  From the very first meeting to the bridal couple’s send-off - Bowtie Gourmet is there making sure every detail of your dream day is managed to perfection.  Our team thrives on our ability to deliver our clients the happiest event of their lives.  We are excited to get to know each client and hear how we can carefully curate their events from scratch!

Bowtie Gourmet is led by Barrett Tucker (the Bowtie Gourmet). Barrett is a Richmond, Virginia native and has lived in Northern Virginia since 2009 with his husband Vinny and the firm’s Shih Tzu mascot Winston. Barrett has been creating hand tailored events since he was in college at Hampden-Sydney and cultivated his passion for design and entertaining at an early age from his mother and grandmother. Whether it’s designing a special dinner for him and his husband or planning and executing a wedding for 200+ guests, Barrett crafts every detail with enthusiasm and care, and always with a dash of southern hospitality.
